Astrology as it relates to Theosophy – Wanda Sellar

Theosophy underlies all the world’s religions as it seeks truth through the ancient wisdom. Astrology is believed to be the practice of predicting events by studying the positions of the planets and stars. Though it is more than that, the latter description at least suggests that there might be some truth in the maxim ‘as above, so below’. And it is within this understanding that the study of theosophy and astrology combine: we look to the heavens or to the Divine, to comprehend the world below.

This talk will follow the paths that theosophy and astrology have taken since the inception of the Theosophical Society.
