a zoom talk by Neville Crofts
Why do so many teachers recommend striving for detachment? What does it mean? Can we live and take part fully in the world and still be detached? To help answer these questions I will refer to both Sanskrit texts and Meister Eckhart a 13th century Dominican Friar.
Neville Crofts has been a member of TS for just 8 years but has been enquiring into the meaning of truth since 1968. This has included studying Advaita philosophy, Plato, and Sanskrit.
In recent years he has taken a great interest in Meister Eckhart a 13th century Dominican and possibly the greatest of German mystics.
